2025 was a foundational year for Loopstack. A year of bold ideas, first releases, real-world feedback, and countless conversations with developers who share our belief: AI automation works best when humans stay in control.

This post is a short recap of what we’ve built together so far.

Presenting Loopstack: Built by Developers, for Developers

Loopstack was created as a developer-first AI automation framework, not a drag-and-drop tool that turns into unmaintainable shadow IT.

From the start, we focused on:

• Code-first workflows
• Version control, testing, and reviews
• Clear APIs and strong abstractions
• Enterprise-grade reliability

Mission-critical automations deserve the same engineering rigor as your core product and Loopstack is built exactly for that.

Our First Beta Launch & Community Event

One of the most exciting moments of the year was our first beta launch.

We invited developers and AI enthusiasts to our office for a hands-on workshop and mini hackathon. Seeing people build real workflows with something we had worked on for months behind closed doors was incredibly motivating.

But the most valuable part came afterward: honest feedback.

Everyone who joined, tested, and challenged us directly shaped what Loopstack is today.

Loopstack 0.14: Flexibility & Better Interfaces

With Loopstack 0.14, we took a big step forward in usability and flexibility.

Key highlights:

• Executing workflows with arguments
• Configurable UI forms and actions
• Support for Vercel AI Elements
• Stability and quality improvements across the platform

This release made it easier to adapt workflows to real-world contexts without changing core logic and laid the groundwork for more interactive, user-driven automations.

Loopstack 0.15: A Major Architectural Leap

Version 0.15 marked our biggest technical milestone so far.

We fundamentally reworked Loopstack’s architecture to make it feel fully native to NestJS and dramatically improve developer experience.

Highlights include:

• Native NestJS dependency injection (no custom factories)
• New dependency decorators for workflows, tools, and documents
• Zod-based argument definitions with @WithArguments
• Stateless workflows with explicit state via @WithState
• Helper methods callable from templates
• A leaner core and first-class testing utilities

This release simplified mental models, improved performance, and made Loopstack easier to reason about, test, and scale.

Built Together With the Community

Every release, blog post, bug report, and discussion helped move Loopstack forward. Wether you tested the beta, reported an issue, shared feedback or simply followed along: you have been part of this journey.
